Time:2:51 pm.
I thought you might like to see this video produced for the soon-to-open New Asian restaurant Sunda. Click the image below or go directly to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYTwh2HemjI.

Sunda, opening to the public on Monday, March 9 at 110 W. Illinois in River North, is at the vanguard of America’s New-Asian cuisine movement. Helmed by renowned Executive Chef Rodelio Aglibot, known as the “Food Buddha” to international media, Sunda showcases contemporary and progressive interpretations of traditional dishes from Japan, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and the rest of the Southeast Asian Island region. The surprising, simple, flavorful dishes are served and shared while a full sushi bar will service an assortment of sushi, sashimi and nigiri options. Sunda’s beverage program revolves around a progressive list of premium sakes, an assembly of Asian beers, a well-rounded list of Champagnes, sparkling wines, white wines and red wines and an ever-changing seasonal cocktail list. The chic space, designed by award-winning restaurant and hotel designer Tony Chi, seats more than 200 guests and is a spectacular combination of innovative yet comforting design in which delicious authentic New Asian cuisine is served at accommodating prices, where each guest can choose the level of their dining experience from a myriad of menu options.

Subject:FLIST Bridges Cyberspace and Artspace
Posted by:lil_fatty.
Time:1:16 am.

CHICAGO – For the first time ever, artist-bloggers’ work will be transferred from cyberspace to artspace for FLIST, a multi-media exhibit that runs from October 5th to October 12th at The Happy Dog Gallery. FLIST – blog-speak for “friends list” – allows artists worldwide to put real names to usernames and faces to userpics, while exhibiting art side-by-side.

For artists, the “blogosphere” has become a place to exhibit work, meet other artists, share ideas with peers and admirers, and, of course, network. All of this interaction is free or relatively inexpensive, and accessible on a global scale.

FLIST’s mission is to explore how artist communities fit into this phenomenon online and off. It's a group exhibit featuring over 40 artists from around the globe, spanning from New York to Seattle, to as far as Russia and Malaysia.

Here're the deets:
The Bloggers' Art Show

When: Oct. 5-12
Where: Happy Dog Gallery / 1542 N. Milwaukee Ave. / Chicago, IL

Whutup hipsters?

Come hang out with me at Delilah's this Saturday!!

I design for a magazine that's dedicated to profiling everything independent or under the radar in Chicago. We cover: bands, artists, entrepaneurs, fashion, food venues, music and book reviews. Starting with our 4th issue, we've re-hauled and re-sexified the magazine to be a spankin', publication dedicated to all things punk rock and DIY. And as true-blue lovers of the Windy City, we've got some awesome music planned and even our very own Chicago based DJs, Nora Utley, from Shit Sandwhich Records, Punk Planet and WLUW's Hump Day Dance Party, spinnning some tight joints that'll make you want to dance the night away. Not to mention they gave us the entire bar for the whole night to cheese in.

So even if you gots plans that night, drop it like it's hot and come chill with us! We'd love to meetcha and we're always looking for new contributers as well as new things to feature. Plus, we're starting the shindig early and if you get there at 8pm, your first drink is FREE!!! Now how can y'all pass that up?! For more about the magazine go to our link: Love, Chicago.

For party info, check out the invite:
